Within the past week USA Rugby announced the opening of its yearly member registration. All members affiliated with the club must be registered to be covered under both club insurance and USA Rugby Insurance. But what exactly is this insurance?

Club Insurance is the liability policy that is provided by USA Rugby to JaxRFC once certain standards are met like a specific amount personnel and a 8 or more registered players. This liability policy covers the club when we use various fields, rent vans for players and pretty much do anything where the club engages with an outside entity.

USA Rugby Insurance is gap and catastrophic medical insurance that covers any USA Rugby member that is injured while competing in a sanctioned event like a league match or a practice. This medical insurance is given out on a claim basis and will either cover what your standard medical insurance does not or act as your primary insurance pending approval. This is essential to keeping players happy and healthy out on the pitch.

A friendly reminder that all member accreditations must be up to date if registering as anything other than a player such as coaching certifications, Safe Sport or Background checks. Player registration is $115 this year, a $5 increase from last year.
