Our boys and girls ages 12 and 13 tend to need a reminder that basic skills are still important. This age group tends to want to move right into the more exciting set piece or scrimmaging part of training. At this age group, all set pieces are contested and the players get even more strategic. Players tend to move beyond what works and what doesn't and begin determining why something works or doesn't work.
Our U14 players will play small-sided matches with local scrimmages to develop understanding of basic match play. Players will also participate in Florida Youth Rugby Union Matrix play. During matrix matches, all youth teams will travel to play other Florida clubs. We will also host other Florida Clubs.
